I just tried that, but it intimates that I need Quicktime Pro to be able to save it. I’m presuming that since I’ve played it on my PC, it might exist somewhere as a temp file?

I remember some time in the dark distant dim days of being more au fait that it was possible to find and save temp files. but I haven’t done that in a long time.

If you’re on a Mac, then control-click on the link to the mp3. You’ll get the option to save the link target as a file, or import into iTunes. If you’ve got the mp3 in a browser window you might have the option of clicking on the dropdown arrow on the right of the progress bar to save it. On a WindowsPC, right-click and you should see something similar. On Linux you’ll probably have to transcribe the 1s and 0s by hand.
