Today, I became a Soccer Mom

We also bought the dog a coat, which looks pretty hilarious, but no pictures yet. Finally, I believe I have discovered my signature cupcake just in time for tomorrow’s preschool fete:

I’m sure someone else has made Iced Vovo cupcakes, but I’m still pretty stoked with myself. The world of cupcakes is quite something else. I had no idea.

My mother just loaned me a book of cupcake recipes: I made honey and walnut and lemonjuice ones, like little Greek cakes, for the chook group meeting over the weekend. We ate them with billy tea after the working bee.

But such odd US measurements in the book: 5/8 of a cup of flour: 5 tablespoons of honey…
