I was really looking forward to a break from my relentless schedule of googling wedding+reception+venue+cheap and cheese+wax, but I guess it was not to be.
Sheesh, have you seen the front page of The Australian’s budget supplement today? You’d think a Liberal MP was coming around to every house in the country to blow everyone over the age of consent.
Eww. At least Tony would put a bit of enthusiasm into it, one imagines. Then one stops oneself imagining very, very quickly, as it is really too horrible to contemplate.
I knew I shouldn’t, but I clicked on Zoe’s link to the Liberal MPs. I was actually relieved - unappealing, but not scary.
What is a tad scary: every female Lib MP is a Mrs, whereas only 2 of the female Lab MPs use that title, despite most of the Labor Ms MPs being married.
I know it’s just a choice and so on, but for the Libs to only attract women to stand for office who make that particular choice still says … something.

Oh dear god. There isn’t really much choice, is there?

I hesitate to say this, but it’s Malcolm Turnbull for me. At least he’s got a decent photographer and make up artist.
