Happy Father’s Day for yesterday, which in our house this year was also Dad’s birthday. There were socks. And there was metallic pasta art:

  • Funny how metallic pasta art can be the most beautiful thing in the world sometimes.

  • Timeless pasta art. Ahhhh. (And socks! Why didn’t I think of socks?)

Has he done plaster casts of his hand prints too?

  • the metallic pasta art is only to be outdone by the fact that in the photo it appears dad is wearing a matching purple velvet tee and pant number. I realise it’s just how the colours are appearing on my screen, but it was worth the chortle.

  • Was there chocolate? BB finally got to try his fantasy of 99% cocoa dark choc, but between you and me I don’t think it was very nice. Now he can shut up and just be happy with 80%. I’m sure that’s dark and sweet enough! Happy birthday O, a pressie is on the way…

  • Wonderful pasta art. We never got around to it….
